EVE Frontier leaves closed alpha with new content released on 11th June

CCP Games’ fully onchain MMOG EVE Frontier is decloaking from its closed alpha, which has also been held under an NDA restricting players’ freedom to share their experiences thus far.

But starting from Wednesday 11th June, the game will enter what’s being called Founder Access: New Era, which also sees the addition of new gameplay, content and ongoing refresh of which is called cycles.

The first cycle is called Promised Lands and also starts on 11th June.

This will enable players to gain Grace as they complete in-game missions and activities. Grace will be used to rank players on a per cycle leaderboard, both individually and alongside their tribe.

Over time, new cycles will introduce new missions, objectives and content.

To highlight the progress made thus far – the game was officially revealed as EVE Frontier in September 2024 – CCP Games has also released a new trailer.

Called The Ancient Dark, it  it “chronicles the cycle of death and rebirth that binds all Riders (players) – each caught in an endless struggle for survival within a cruel and boundless galaxy”.
